Having first arrived on the music scene back in 2007, it didn’t take long for Brooklyn-based indie outfit Yeasayer to gain the attention and adoration of fans worldwide. Now, more than five years later, and with two full-length studio albums already under their belt, the band is back with a third LP titled Fragrant World that’s scheduled for release on August 21 via Secretly Canadian. 

We caught up with the band (who were discussing plans to shoot their “Longevity” music video at Dreamland amusement park) to talk about their new album, learn more about the Coachella Cruise they’re booked to play later this year, and hear what other acts they’re currently listening to.
